Privacy
What this site collects, and what it doesn't.
Last updated 10 September 2026.
This website is operated by Misinfo Trace. It is hosted by Netlify.
What we collect
- If you subscribe to updates: your email address.
- If you use the contact form: your name, email address, what you work on if you choose to say, and your message.
- When you visit any page: our host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address and the page requested. We use Netlify's server-side analytics to count page views from those logs.
What we don't do
- We set no cookies.
- We run no tracking or advertising scripts, and no third-party analytics.
- The page loads nothing from other services — fonts included — so visiting it tells no one but our host.
- We don't sell or share your information.
How we use it
Email addresses from the signup form are used only to send project updates. Contact messages are used to reply to you. Page-view counts tell us, in aggregate, which pages people read.
Who else handles it
Form submissions and server logs are stored by Netlify, which hosts the site, under Netlify's privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us to remove your email address from updates, or to delete anything you have sent us, through the contact form. We keep submissions only as long as we need them for the purpose you sent them for.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
